nSense WebScan

nSense WebScan is a next generation security scanning tool that provides automated vulnerability discovery in Web applications. nSense developed WebScan to address the challenge of managing security in a dynamic and increasingly complex web-enabled environment.

Firewalls and other traditional intrusion prevention mechanisms do not detect attacks against the web application and are therefore rendered insufficient for preventing attacks targeting the web applications themselves. Many IT managers today have a false sense of security, and believe that the security level is high based on the assumption that a combination of traditional scans, like nessus, and firewalls can detect all vulnerabilities and prevent intrusions.

nSense WebScan implements intelligence technology not seen in any other automated web application assessment tools. This technology enables WebScan to make a comprehensive analysis of the application and to generate unique attacks based on the information it gathers. Among other techniques, WebScan uses a textual analysis to make linguistical attacks specific to the application.
